Randox Health have partnered with the National Disability and Carers Card Scheme to offer National Disability Card holders and National Carers Card Holders an exclusive discount on Randox Health tests.
National Disability Card holders and National Carers Card holders will be able to avail of an exclusive discount on all Randox Health in-clinic and at-home tests.
What is the National Disability Card?
The National Disability Card and National Carers Card were created by carers in 2019, in response to a lack of suitable identity documents for disabled individuals and their carers. The scheme is now trusted by 80,000+ card holders and accepted as proof of disability or carer status at leading day out venues across the UK and abroad, including Disneyland Paris and Warner Bros. Studio Tour.
National Disability Card holders and National Carers Card holders will be able to use their exclusive discount against the range of Randox Health tests, which include our popular full body checks such as the Everyman | Everywoman test, to tests for areas of specific concern, including our Gut Microbiome test. The range of specialised health packages help empower individuals to take control of their health, using innovative diagnostic technologies which can provide a comprehensive overview of an individual’s health, helping to detect the earliest signs of illness.
Dianne Taylor, Founder and CEO of National Disability Card says: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Randox to make it easier for disabled individuals and carers to access health testing in clinics and at home. With disabled individuals facing a cost of living premium of an extra £1,000 per month on average, and with many carers being unpaid, we are pleased to have Randox’s support in alleviating these challenges for our communities. National Disability Card holders and National Carers Card holders will be able to access reduced price Randox Health testing when buying online or in-clinic.”
Caitlin Heaney, Marketing Executive at Randox Health says: “We are very excited to have entered into this partnership with National Disability Card. We recognise that disabled individuals face many daily struggles and many carers are unpaid, so we want to take a step forward in helping provide these individuals with more affordable and convenient access to healthcare, whether that be through our range of in-clinic or at-home health tests.”
